The Guardian non-voice emergency response system consists of multiple wireless receivers spread throughout the facility to create a “virtual net” for locating and monitoring Guardians wireless devices. A single receiver is usually able to cover a section of 6 to 10 typical apartments, and the range of our “virtual net” can also be extended beyond the facility to throughout the grounds should this be required. The integrity of our net is maintained by a computer system which verifies the functionality of EVERY receiver at 2 minute intervals; should a portion of the net become impaired, your staff would be immediately notified that there is a system problem. |
